Transportation Help

There are several options for getting from the airport to the resort.  Here are links and prices to a couple of companies.  Both of these are private, non-stop transportation.  The ride from CUN to the resort will be around 35-45 minutes.

Cancun Shuttle: $45 one way, $80 round trip  Rates and reservations

Cancun Transfers: $45 one way, $85 round trip  Rates and reservations

Taxis are also available at the airport and from what I've read charge between $40-$50 one way.

The resort will also arrange transportation if you email them at least 72 hours in advance.  Here is their information:

Seasons Tours provides exclusive, deluxe private, non-stop transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Services are provided either by Suburban or Explorer SUV. Round trip service (airport – hotel - airport) cost per vehicle $145.00 US for 1 up to 4 people. No need to pay in advance, cost will be charged to your room's account at your check-in.

Mexico Party Planning

Hey there Mexico party people!! The trip is fast approaching and we just wanted to give everyone a heads up on some the plans for that week.

Because we love dressing up, themes, and all things party-like, we would like for everyone to participate in a themed party day during the trip!  So, Friday the 21st will be Yacht Rock.  Make it as casual or as classy as you like. Guys: think unbuttoned Hawaiian print shirts, deck shoes, and short shorts.  Ladies: thrown on your sun hats and your nautical dresses or tanks.

Since we're on the subject of attire, there are dress codes at some of the restaurants at Excellence.  Some  require dress pants and shirts for men.  Here is a link with more details:

Mike is also planning a couple of day fishing trips for anyone interested.  The first will be Tuesday the 18th, and the other on Saturday the 22nd.  Both will be early in the morning until that afternoon.  Please let us know ASAP so we can book an appropriate sized boat.

Finally we would like to spend an evening in Cancun.  We'll head into the big city on Tuesday evening to party it up.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Only 175 days until Mexico! So enjoy this cold, rainy weather while you still can! If you're reading this you must have recieved our Save The Date cards?! Stay tuned for the invites. But if you'd like to RSVP early, please do! We already have some rooms secured at the resort, so let us know if you need any further information.

 

SAVE THE DATE!!

We have a wedding date!!  On Thursday June 20, 2013 we'll be celebrating on the beach in Playa Mujeres, Mexico at the Excellence Resort.  We'd love for people to come a few days early and stay a few days afterward to celebrate with us and to make a vacation of it for yourselves.    We will arrive on Monday, June 17th and stay until Sunday, the 23rd.  Consider staying a few extra days at the resort or exploring the sites on Mexico's east coast.

Excellence Playa Mujeres

It is an all inclusive resort so all food and drinks will be included in the room price.  There are several restaurants and bars on the property with a variety of options.
There is a group discount for booking 10 or more rooms, so once we can get confirmed guests we'll find out the discounted price and pass information onto you.  Below is a description of the rooms.  You can find pricing by choosing either the "RESORT ONLY" or the "RESORT + AIR" option on this page.
